Motel 6 and Studio 6 have modified their pet policies, as follows:
- The one pet per room policy has been removed.
- The weight limit on pets has been lifted.
Because we travel with a 45 pound Shar-Pei and a 65 pound Shepherd, the loosening of these restrictions is wonderful for pet people like us. We also note that Motel 6 does not levy a pet fee, but Studio 6 charges $10 per day – maxing out at $50 per stay.
Motel 6 and Studio 6 hotels have been pet friendly since 1962, and pets are welcome at all of the hotels’ 1,000+ locations in the US and Canada. Standard amenities include free local phone calls, no long distance access charges, free morning coffee, Wi-Fi Internet access, and cable TV. Most locations also feature swimming pools and guest laundry facilities.
